I have spent the last six years procrastinating off and on about whether or not I would continue work on this story. I kept telling myself that I would get around to it eventually and then get side-tracked or busy or just forget. I even wrote a tiny bit more earlier this year before even more important things came up and I've finally had to face the facts: I am never going to finish “Shades of Grey.” I may get another story out in the future, but I would need inspiration to strike, like with my semi-recent DCSHG and Persona stories. I just don't have the enthusiasm for HBL anymore. Partly due to the general downswing in content being produced by other creators and partly because of my own interests and priorities. I still love the characters and I’m proud of some of the stories I've written involving them. I'm grateful for how much I was able to improve as a writer thanks to my passion for the series.
